The junior research group was funded by the European Social Fund.<\/p>\n\n<p><p>This is the first time that a complete German translation of \u201cStatistika \u0142u\u017eiskich Serbow\u201d by Arno\u0161t Muka is available. It was created between 2016 and 2019 as part of the ESF project &#8220;Sorb Knowledge&#8221; at the TU Dresden and the Sorbian Institute Bautzen. The book version published by Muka in 1886 in Bautzen \/ Budy\u0161in served as the source text. The study originally appeared in three parts in the Ma\u0107ica Serbska magazine: Part I on Lower Lusatia in 1884, Part II on Prussian Upper Lusatia in 1885, and Part III on Saxon Upper Lusatia in 1886.
